“Corrine found a contemporary screen made of varying lengths of aluminum tubing that could be used to divide the office area from the table.
This was certainly the correct approach, as the table was most closely associated with the kitchen area than the office. Designed by Glendon Good, the screen, titled Poseidon, was quite flexible and could be molded to any contour.
Better still, the gentle curvature of its upper edge was definitely Yin. Of equal importance was the impression of strength the screen seemed to impart. The verticality of the tubes gave the illusion of a great fluted column.”
